AIQS - Region 2 in Sport Carnival

SLQS-UAE organised the inaugural summer Indoor Sports Carnival 2024 over the weekend of July 6th and 7th, extending their successful indoor cricket tournament which has been running for 11 years. This event marked a significant expansion, featuring not only indoor cricket but also badminton, carrom, table tennis, and bowling. The carnival saw enthusiastic participation from over 500 quantity surveyors residing in the UAE, with teams representing various professional organizations, companies, and various sports clubs.

AIQS-Region 2 Indoor Cricket Team

AIQS-Region 2 proudly took part in this event, participating teams in both cricket and bowling. The indoor cricket segment saw 21 teams competing fiercely, with the AIQS-Region 2 cricket team playing three matches. In the bowling tournament, which also featured 21 teams, AIQS-Region 2 players performed exceptionally well. Benjie from AIQS-Region 2 was awarded as the 3rd best player, while AIQS-Region 2 committee member Nuwan Amarasooriya was awarded the 2nd best player.
