Please note: The webinar link will be sent to attendees the day prior to the event
In this webinar, Vanessa Cullen, CEO of FTD Circular by Forward Thinking Design, will explore the emerging frameworks and regulations driving circularity in construction, and the vital role that quantity surveyors can play in this transition.
The session will begin with an overview of circular economy principles, and why these are critical to addressing risk, waste, embodied carbon, and resource depletion. Vanessa will discuss material and market innovations, digital traceability tools, and evolving business models such as product-as-a-service and material exchanges.
Vanessa will explore the considerations for specifying re-used, reclaimed and sustainable products, and suggest approaches to fostering collaboration across project teams to integrate circular strategies effectively.
Real-world examples will be drawn upon to give viewers insights into the drivers behind circular economy innovation and the implementation discussions being had across the industry.
