Webinar: The New Right to Disconnect Laws under the Fair Work Act (Recording Option)
The purpose of this webinar is to provide an essential update on the new Right to Disconnect (RtD) laws.
The RtD is a new employee workplace right designed to promote and create a work-life balance culture. The new RtD will be comprised by section 333M of the Fair Work Act 2009 that states: 'An employee may refuse to monitor, read, or respond to contact, or attempted contact, from an employer (or associated third party) outside of their working hours, unless their refusal is unreasonable.'
The RtD laws will apply to businesses with 15 or more employees from the 26th of August 2024. Businesses with less than 15 employees have until the 26th of August 2025 to prepare for these changes.
Join this webinar to find out more about these laws and learn the steps that your business can follow in preparing for the coming changes.
