In the complex world of construction projects, disputes and claims are not uncommon. Two types of claims that often arise are delay claims and disruption claims. While they may seem similar at first glance, they have distinct characteristics such as it's focus, cause, proof requirements of effect, and legal considerations require different approaches for effective resolution.

Understanding the differences between these two types of claims is essential for contractors, consultants, clients, and legal professionals involved in construction projects.
