CPD Event

Join us at this event to hear the speakers relay their experiences of how, when contracts are awarded to tenderers who price their tenders after careful consideration of proposed project scope and conditions, choose optimum methods of construction and appropriate resources, best outcomes for all parties are achieved and disputes are avoided.

The detailed content will include such things as the different considerations when tendering for construct-only contracts and design-and-construct contracts and, after giving due attention to risk and contingency, how early identification and solutions to deal with potential constructability issues, onerous constraints or specifications and stringent completion dates will avoid cost and time blow outs during construction.

Event program:

  • 5:15pm - 5:30pm - Arrival and welcome
  • 5:30pm - 6:30pm - Presentation and Q&A
  • 6:30pm - 7:30pm - Networking (AIQS to supply drinks and canapes)
