Webinar: Artificial Intelligence and Project Information (Recording Option)

12:00pm Tuesday, 30 January 2024
Recorded Webinar

This webinar seeks to refine the way that information is utilised in construction projects. Join Dr Matt Stevens and Mr John Smolders AM to learn how:

  • Formalising information collection and confirmation is a system challenge. Early and detailed information gives many options to the construction organisation, such as the time and context to address unpleasant situations or disingenuous stakeholders.
  • Imperfect and late information manifests in many ills, such as rework, loss of confidence and stakeholder conflict, while profit margins decrease.
  • The recent news about Artificial Intelligence’s (AI) abilities is daunting, but may assist contractor's with their information challenges. For example, AI can scan commodity pricing trends and inform when to negotiate depending on trailing data and future projections. Other applications include reading, categorising and disseminating project information.
