We have an immediate opening for a fixed-term Membership Services Coordinator/Team Assistant role based onsite in the CBD. The role is initially for an 8-month term, with the possibility to go permanent.
About You
You will ideally have a thorough understanding of how membership organisations work and be a motivated self-starter who is comfortable working with limited supervision. You thrive in an environment where thinking outside the box motivates you and you are keen to troubleshoot and fix issues using your sharp problem-solving skills. As the first point of contact for the business, you will apply your friendly, professional, and efficient interpersonal and communication skills to ensure that all enquiries are addressed in a timely manner. You will also be a technology-native, keen to learn new systems and have an innate ability to figure out what makes things tick.
Key tasks include:
- Coordinate all areas of membership administration
- Communicate with stakeholders across all areas of the business to ensure workflows are carried out in a timely manner
- Be the first point of contact and the "go-to" person for all enquiries
- Ensure the membership database is accurately maintained and up-to-date
- Analyse and produce regular reports as required
- Support day-to-day office and team administrative needs.
Essential criteria:
- Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Experience using a CRM system within a membership organisation
- Excellent telephone manner and able to communicate effectively
- Ability to analyse data and produce reports
- Attention to detail and good time management skills
- Be able to juggle and prioritise different workflows
- Some flexibility around work hours will be required.
