About the speakers:

        

Cody Bui, Altus Group

Cody is a Quantity Surveyor at Altus Group, where he is part of the data team working to enhance surveyor services. Keen on leveraging technology to improve efficiency, Cody is currently expanding his expertise in Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence. In June 2021, he published a paper in the AIQS Built Environment Economist, exploring the potential application of Machine Learning in the field of quantity surveying.

Siavash Malek, John Holland

Siavash have been with John Holland for 2 years, specializing in Digital Engineering with a focus on healthcare projects. Siavash is currently involved in the Thomas Embling Hospital project in Fairfield, following the successful completion of the Vic Heart Hospital project in Clayton. For nearly a decade, Siavash has also been teaching at The University of Melbourne, aiming to share his knowledge to the next generation entering the building and construction industry.

Dr Cristobal Sierra, WT Partnership

Dr Cristobal (Cris) Sierra is a Mechanical Engineer with a PhD in infrastructure particularly targeting the adoption of transformative technologies. He was also recipient of a scholarship from the Australian Research Council. The research focused on transport infrastructure and related demand forecast. In addition, Cris has supervised several industry projects mentoring undergraduates and postgraduates. Some of his recent work includes working on rollingstock and manufacturing industries to enhance their production processes.
