Hannah and Simon will give some insights on how the upfront carbon requirements are structured within Green Star and will also present a case study.

- How the upfront carbon requirements are structured within Green Star, and upcoming changes Green Star Buildings v1.1
- Outline of a common workflow for delivery of the upfront carbon credit, and how sustainability consultants rely on QS information

- Maribyrnong Civic Precinct and Community Hub Redevelopment – an ambitious Green Star Buildings project
About the speakers:
Hannah Blossom
Director of Sustainability - Cundall
Hannah is a Chartered Engineer with over two decades of industry experience delivering sustainable design advice for the built environment in Australia and the UK. Her skills range from developing sustainability strategies for buildings and urban precincts, to transitioning to net zero and building resilience.
As an established leader in her field, Hannah works collaboratively with project teams to support increasingly sustainable and regenerative outcomes, advocating for positive change from the projects and organisations she works with.
Simon Liley
Principal Consultant Sustainability - Cundall
Simon is a Principal Consultant with over nine years’ experience as a sustainability specialist. He has a strong background in single building, masterplanning and climate change resilience projects in a diverse range of sectors. He is also a Green Star Accredited Professional with a background in building physics, resilience and human wellbeing. Simon has a particular passion in fabric-first approaches to sustainability to deliver comfortable, healthy places reliably and affordably.
