Webinar

In this era of Industry 4.0, BIM is used for effective project analysis and management throughout the life cycle of construction projects. New approaches, standards and workflow are seen to manifest within the implementation of 5D BIM under the Project BEP (BIM Execution Plans). However, execution of 5D BIM is challenging during this transitional period for professionals especially for a Quantity Surveyor (QS). In order to execute 5D BIM, the QS is required to adapt and adopt the new BIM-based digital approach and tools for executing their tasks during pre-contract and post-contract stages. A QS is also required to understand and review BIM models with digital tools which enables them to connect to the BIM information via a ‘BIM Cost Model’ by allowing them to navigate alongside the standards practices, required measurement rules, and project specifications while continuously maintaining it throughout the entire project life cycle for various project reporting.

Join Justin Bong from Glodon in this webinar to understand how to transition effectively to a 5D BIM QS and improve productivity in your organisation.
