In this double CPD session, join Peter Clack as he discusses the Importance of Quantity Surveyors and Reporting to Financial Institutions along with the recently released AIQS Construction Financing Reports - Guidance Note. This will be followed by Andrew Brady presenting on BIM & the Role of the Quantity Surveyor including the new Australia and New Zealand BIM Best Practice Guidelines.

During his time on the board of the AIQS, Peter was responsible for the establishment and roll-out of the AIQS online Academy. As a Quantity Surveyor, Cost Consultant/Construction Manager and Project Manager with over 35 years’ professional experience, Peter ensures client’s and consultants are provided with advice that will provide certainty, clarity and assurance on their projects from inception through to the final account. Peter has gained considerable experience across all sectors of the building and infrastructure industries.  During these 35 years Peter, has also developed his expertise as an Independent Expert Witness providing clear and concise independent advice to his clients. 

BIM & the Role of the Quantity Surveyor
Presented by Andrew Brady, FAIQS, CQS – Managing Director, GRC Quantity Surveyors | AIQS Board Member

Andrew is the Managing Director at GRC Quantity Surveyors. He has extensive property construction industry knowledge and specialist expertise in risk management, cost control, dispute resolution, contract advisory and value management services. He is the youngest person appointed to the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS) National Board and was presented the Future Leader of the Year Award in the AIQS Infinite Value Awards 2013. Andrew is a member of national and international BIM committees and has experience as a Green Star accredited professional.

Terms & Conditions
1. Purchasers may indicate an intention to purchase Tickets by creating an online Booking. Invoices for Bookings can be issued for subsequent payment but Tickets are not reserved and will not be issued until payment has been made in full.
2. Tickets to AIQS Events are non-refundable, regardless of the cancellation date. Purchasers can transfer tickets to another person and update the name of the ticket holder needs to be made in writing to 
3. The Purchaser agrees to be aware of and to make any person to whom they transfer the Tickets aware of the following terms and conditions that relate to attendance at the Event by the Attendee: 
- Attendees consent to their image being captured in photographs and video of the events and that image being broadcast or transmitted in any way at the discretion of AIQS.
- All attendees are expected to behave in a professional manner. AIQS reserves the right to prohibit entry to any Attendee to an event, or eject any Attendee from an event, based on behaviour deemed unlawful, inappropriate or offensive by AIQS staff and/or its agents and others working under its authority.
- Persons attend the Events at their own risk. Attendees agree not to hold AIQS liable for any losses, damages, expenses, costs, claims or liabilities suffered or incurred by ticket holders including consequential or indirect losses or loss of profit through booking for the Event, attending the Event, cancellation of the Event, failure of the Event to achieve expectations, or for any error or omission by AIQS. Attendees agree not to hold AIQS liable or responsible for any personal injury (i.e. physical, psychological or emotional stress) or any loss or damage to personal property.
