Ahmed Ibrahim is a Partner at Fenwick Elliott and has been leading the expansion of the firm’s Dubai office since 2015.  Ahmed has vast experience in handling cases involving major construction, infrastructure and energy projects, often with significant sums of money in dispute. In addition to acting as counsel, Ahmed has served as sole arbitrator, co-arbitrator and chairman of arbitral tribunals in more than 100 ad-hoc and institutional arbitration cases under most major arbitration rules, including DIFC-LCIA, DIAC, ICSID, ICC, and CRCICA.

Patrick Stone

Patrick has significant experience in construction and engineering disputes on major international projects, with a particular focus on the Middle East where he has spent a large part of his career. Patrick specialises in International Arbitration and has worked on disputes relating to projects in a number of jurisdictions including the UK, the UAE, Qatar, Oman, Iraq, Egypt, South Africa and Madagascar and has acted on arbitrations being pursuant to ICC, LCIA, DIAC and ADCCAC rules. Patrick is familiar with a number of standard form construction contracts including FIDIC and NEC and has acted in disputes arising out of bespoke forms of contract, particularly EPC contracts. 

Patrick has acted in disputes arising out of a number of major international projects across a broad range of industry sectors, with particular experience in disputes relating to oil and gas and infrastructure projects.

AIQS reserves the right to prohibit entry to any Attendee to an event, or eject any Attendee from an event, based on behaviour deemed unlawful, inappropriate or offensive by AIQS staff and/or its agents and others working under its authority.
- Persons attend the Events at their own risk. Attendees agree not to hold AIQS liable for any losses, damages, expenses, costs, claims or liabilities suffered or incurred by ticket holders including consequential or indirect losses or loss of profit through booking for the Event, attending the Event, cancellation of the Event, failure of the Event to achieve expectations, or for any error or omission by AIQS. Attendees agree not to hold AIQS liable or responsible for any personal injury (i.e. physical, psychological or emotional stress) or any loss or damage to personal property.
