Webinar

With the Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (ASRS) upon us, many companies that meet the threshold for Group 1 are frantically trying to prepare for reporting. Whilst this is important, we should not let reporting be the main driver.

Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategies have become a cornerstone for organisations aiming to achieve sustainable growth. These strategies not only reflect an organisation’s commitment to societal and environmental responsibility, but also influence their operational outcomes and overall success.

It is important to recognise that organisations should set ESG strategies to drive change in their businesses rather than solely for reporting purposes. Just as a successful business strategy would not ignore the risks and opportunities related to finance, operations, or health and safety until regulatory reporting made you assess these risks, so too, ESG is an extension of that business strategy to identify material risks and opportunities that are under the banners of Environment, Social, and Governance.

To get the best out of your ESG strategy, a considered, coordinated, and integrated approach is required that will drive proactive change rather than reacting to external conditions that influence your business. This approach should also set you up for efficient reporting purposes as a bonus.

This webinar will explain the ASRS and how you should prepare by focusing on your ESG strategy whilst considering the reporting requirements to design your internal processes.
